Importance of Imagination Children explore. They create, learn, and imagine every possible world imbedded within the earth. With scaly dragons, shimmering fairies, and mystical lands, children thrive on imagination. However, when these imaginary creatures and beautiful scenarios are subdued during childhood development, their adult lives become meaningless. They never dream. Adults who grew up without childhood imagination never have the mindset to dream and succeed. They lack the imagination to do so. Imagination provides adults with the ability to create multitudinous opportunities to not only improve the world around them, but also to create an incredible life for themselves. Aristotle was an ancient Greek philosopher who was gifted in many areas of education but among his educational resume perhaps his biggest impact was his writing in philosophy. His writings today have been embedded in the way we think today and make us think of our telos as human beings. The problem with this is that we as human beings accept the good life of another but not of a human being. A virtuous friendship being the highest form is when one wishes the ul timate goodness for the other’s sake in which Aristotle says they are the hardest to find and most lasting friendships. Medea’s rage is a result of Jason’s betrayal, and with both desire and passion, it prompts her calculation- causing her to commit unimaginable crimes. Her rage is forgivable, yet her actions that follow are contemptible. Jason’s betrayal is recurring throughout the novel, and as it progresses, Medea’s fury worsens also. Medea knows that in order for her to pursue with murdering her children, she will have to suffer tremendously. Her manipulation and vigilant arrangements allows her to accomplish results which reflect on her fury and â€Å"special knowledge†. Although Jason is to blame for Medea’s rage, the results are solely Medea’s fault. We are able to sympathise with Medea; to some extent, for the distress she undergoes through killing her children. However, their global presence could increase with the building of more theme parks in areas catering to high tourist populations such as in Spain. Disney could also increase their global film departments by acquiring more foreign film production companies to make films containing content that would appeal to regional cultures. This would not only help the foreign box office for domestically created films, but would broaden the Disney brand, increasing their assets. Another opportunity that Disney has is to build more theme park attractions. The recent opening of Cars Land at Disney’s California Adventure has proven incredibly successful. If Disney continues to create attractions throughout their global theme parks, based on their films, they could increase revenue. In creating more attractions they are resisting inertia, which will increase the consumer appeal of their parks. Threats: With regards to film, Disney’s main threat is DreamWorks Animation. Though Disney controls the market share in animated films, DreamWorks has proven a rising threat with the releases of the Shrek, Madagascar and Kung-Fu Panda franchises. These films have rivaled Disney’s Pixar box office results and have received great critical acclaim. Another rising threat to Disney’s feature animation dominance is the newly developed Paramount Animation. This company was recently announced in 2011 after DreamWorks left Paramount for 20th Century Fox.
